In order to make sure that GateHawk technology offers a valuable experience for all customers and users, all hardware associated with GateHawk features must be installed carefully and accurately. This document outlines the installation steps required to properly install a GateHawk Video Intercom system. The following steps should be precisely followed by a qualified technician to ensure system functionality and user safety. All local and national electric codes should

be followed as these steps are completed.

FCC & COMPLIANCE

 

This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the manufacturer could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment


Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.

Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be

required to correct the interference at his own expense.

This product has been found to be compliant to the requirements set forth in CFR 47 Section 1.1307 addressing RF

Exposure from radio frequency devices, as defined in Evaluating Compliance with FCC Guidelines for Human Exposure

to Radio Frequency Electromagnetic Fields. This device must be installed and operated so as to maintain a minimum

separation distance to any person of 20 cm (8.7 inches).
