Editing the Property Admin Contact allows you to recover a property’s accounts if the property management team changes. 



Assigning Property Admin Contact

To reassign the Property Admin Contact:

  1. Log into the GateHawk Dealer Portal

  2. Click the Properties tab at the top of the page

  3. Choose the desired Property whose contact you wish to reassign

  4. Click the Staff tab towards the top of the page

  5. Click thenext to the staff member you wish to assign as the Property Admin Contact

  6. Click Set as Property Contact



To confirm the changes have taken place, click the Profile tab at the top of the page and scroll to the bottom. The contact details listed under Property Admin Contact Details should now match the staff member you’ve reassigned to be the new Admin Contact. 


Note: The Property Admin Contact is different from the Property Owner Contact. The Admin Contact is typically an onsite manager that oversees daily duties, whereas the Owner Contact is the actual owner of the property who should rarely change. If the property owner does change hands, the Property Owner Contact Details should be updated by the property team directly.
